PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Marystown Minor Hockey had a very busy week, with 9 House League games played between October 23-29, 2023. The Players of the Week for each division were announced, with some great performances from young players across the association.
In the Tim Horton’s U7 Minor Division, Blake Butler of Timbit Stars, Caleb Crocker of Timbit Flyers, and Benjamin Bennett of Timbit Kings were named Co-Operators Players of the Week.
Meanwhile, Julia Lambe of Timbit Pink and Brielle Grandy of Timbit Purple were recognized as Canadian Tire Players of the Week in the Tim Hortons U7 Female Division.
Canadian Tire U9 Minor Division, Liam Farrell of Brenton Group and Henry Wilmott of Hotel Marystown were named Picco, White, McCarthy Players of the Week.
In the U9 Female Division, Charlie Moulton of Salt Pond Esso and Paizley Lockyer of U9 MMHA were recognized as Fun 4 Kids Players of the Week.
McDonald’s U11 AtoMc Minor Division, Carter Coady of AtoMc White and Blake Fudge of AtoMc Black were named Brokerlink Players of the Week.
In the Pike’s One Stop U13 Female Division, Madison Farrell of Rene’s Autobody and Ella Stapleton of Canadian Tire were recognized as Marystown Ultramar Players of the Week.
Grant Thornton U13 Minor Division, Connor Brushett of Community Credit Union and Landon Fudge of Sobeys were named Marystown Ultramar Players of the Week.
In the Pike’s Building Supplies U15 Minor Division, Lennex Armstrong of Marybrown’s and Nygel Young of Clear Focus Optical were recognized as Players of the Week sponsored by TD Bank.
Peninsula Castle Building Supplies U15 Female Division, Skylar Roberts and Anna Smith of Rene’s Autobody were named Co-Operators Players of the Week from Remax.
In Wally Drake’s Trucking U18 Minor Division, Damien Doucet of Stellar Equipment and Carter Coombs of Aylwards Home Hardware were named Lion’s Club Players of the Week.
Finally, in the U18 Female Division, Madison Slaney of Stellar Transport and Gracie Fiander of Pizza Delight were recognized as Hickman Motors Burin Players of the Week.
Upcoming tournaments in November will be posted on the association website and Facebook Group.
